Biography

AS A SENIOR (2016)
Started all 15 games for the Lions … caused 12 turnovers … picked up 15 ground balls … won three draw controls … finished her career with 61 appearances, 51 starts … added 10 career goals and seven assists … added 83 career ground balls and 33 caused turnovers ... finished her career fourth in caused turnovers … named to the 2016 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll ...  named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Division II Academic Honor Roll.  

AS A JUNIOR (2015)
Played and started in 16 games during the season… one of Saint Leo’s mainstays on defense… third on the team with 28 ground balls… picked-up her season-high of five ground balls against nationally-ranked Lindenwood (4/18)… credited with 11 caused turnovers, tied for fourth on the team… inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society in April 2015... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Spring 2015. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)
Saw playing time in all 17 games, making nine starts... Tallied three points from her defenseman position... Collected 21 ground balls and caused six turnovers... Won 11 draw controls... Scored a season high two points in the season opener against Catawba... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2013. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
Played in 13 games, making 11 starts for the Lions... made first collegiate appearance and scored the first goal of her college career on February 15 against Molloy in the Lions' first game of the season... scored nine goals and added five assists for 14 points on the season... scored a career high three goals against Chowan on March 15... tallied a career high two assists against Mount Olive on March 7... earned a .905 shots-on-goal percentage after firing off 21 shots and placing 19 on frame... collected 19 ground balls, eight draw controls, and caused four turnovers... amassed a career high four ground balls on March 7 against Mount Olive... won a career high two draw controls on four occaisions... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2012. 

CAREER
Three-year Honorable Mention All-Conference award winner... in the top-10 in the state for assists... tabbed team MVP and Hardest Worker... earned Scholar-Athlete honors... also a member of the Minnesota Lakers club team...

PERSONAL
Born October 5... daughter of Jennifer and Randy Clifton... has a brother Kevin, and three sisters, Emily, Jessaca, and Nicole... hobbies include lacrosse, working out, being with friends, boating, and listening to country music... would like to become a sports medicine physician... lists her desire to work hard as her best asset to the team... names Mia Hamm and Joe Mauer as her favorite athletes... roots for the Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Twins, Michigan State Spartans, and Denver Broncos... chose Saint Leo because of the sunny Florida weather, and the lacrosse program... majoring in Biology and Chemistry.
