Saw action in 10 games … picked up one ground ball … caused two turnovers … won three draw controls … named to the 2016 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Spring 2017. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Played in 14 games and made three starts… scored her only goal of the season at home against Shorter (4/12)… tallied three ground balls and two draw controls… logged four caused turnovers… all four of her shots taken during the season were on goal.

CAREER
Three-year varsity letterwinner at University High School for Coach John Hansen… served as captain during her senior year… named team MVP after scoring 68 goals with 55 assists and 27 ground balls… recipient of Coaches’ Award for leadership and dedication on and off the field as a junior.

PERSONAL
Born December 13 in Alexandria, Va…. majoring in biology… career goal is to be an occupational therapist in the U.S. Air Force… favorite athlete is Alex Moran from the U.S. Women’s National Team in soccer, and her favorite professional team is the Pittsburgh Steelers… believes her biggest assets to the team are her dedication to being the best she can be and helping her teammates reach their full potential as well as her own… favorite food is sushi… stated her favorite music is anything that gets her “in a better mood throughout the day, mainly Country”… daughter of Fernando Alvarez and Maria Isabel Hoyos… has one sister, Amanda.
