Francais Olexa joined the Saint Leo coaching staff following a summer stint of professional softball in Germany.
Olexa, who graduated in 2018 from Lynn, was a dual position student-athlete playing as both a pitcher and outfielder. She made 116 appearances in the circle for Lynn where she went 34-53 with 75 starts and four saves. The lefty tallied 321 strikeouts and owned a career ERA of 2.63 in 582 innings of work.
The Delta, British Columbia, Canada native, finished her career with a .939 fielding percentage and a .289 hitting percentage. Olexa played in 191 total games where she notched 157 hits with 27 doubles, three triples, and three homeruns, while knocking in 58 RBI.
Olexa is the daughter of Tina and Bill, she has one sibling, Sammie. She graduated from Lynn in 2018 with Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology.
