Hosameddine El Nehmani

A two-year member of the Saint Leo men’s tennis team, Hosameddine “Sam” El Nehmani joined the Lions’ tennis staff for the 2015-16 season as an assistant coach. El Nehmani continues a legacy between his family and Saint Leo tennis; two of his brothers, Ali and Moe, both wore the Green and Gold as members of the Saint Leo men’s tennis squad, and both received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Saint Leo.

El Nehmani works primarily with the men’s tennis team, while assisting when needed with the women’s tennis athletes. He acquired his interest in coaching at an early age; in addition to being born into a tennis family, El Nehmani’s father serves as an athletic director at a school in the Middle East and Sam learned some of his coaching and administrative skills from observing his father. El Nehmani works by the maxim “being fully devoted to work and being motivated is what makes a person successful in life,” and he dedicates his time to seeking more success for Saint Leo tennis. He is also a big believer in Saint Leo’s Core Values, and tries to employ them on a daily basis.

Originally from Saida, Lebanon, El Nehmani is a 2015 graduate of Saint Leo with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo with anticipated graduation in 2017.
