Tapper made an immediate impact as a freshman, competing in all 18 games for the Lions and starting 13 of them…He played in 996 total minutes, while tallying one assist on eight shots, two of which were on goal…Despite nagging injuries, he still managed to play 55 or minutes in 10 games.
