Saint Leo Male Athlete of the Week (10/17/10)…Hirst had a career year in 2010, appearing in and starting 14 of the Lions 15 games…He tallied 1,185 minutes of playing time and secured a 1.37 goals-against-average…He saved 43 shots and posted an 8-6 overall mark…He concluded the year with a .705 save percentage…He faced a total of 154 shots and registered two shutouts, while allowing 18 goals…He had a career-high seven saves twice (@ Fla. Southern, 09/29/10 and @ Lynn, 10/12/10)…Recorded his first shutout over West Florida (09/19/10).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009)
The sophomore appeared in two games for the Lions, making one start…He accumulated a total of 105 minutes of playing time…He surrendered four goals and made six saves on his way to a 3;44 goals-against-average…He concluded the year with a 0-1 record…In his no-decision against Thomas University (10/06/09), Hirst made a career-best three saves... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Spring 2009

Spent freshman season with Palm Beach Atlantic University.

CAREER
Hirst was named all-district and all-conference during his four-year high school career…Named defensive MVP…Set Palm Beach Central HS for best goals-against-average and most shutouts.

Born August 13 in Portsmouth, England…Accounting major…His hobbies include spending time with friends and family and watching soccer…His career goal is to be successful in whatever he chooses to do…Believes his team spirit is his best asset to the team…Names David James his favorite athlete and Portsmouth FC hi favorite team….He chose Saint Leo because of its strong soccer program and excellent academics…Son of Martin and Rebecca Orzabal…Has one sister, Summer...Attended Palm Beach Atlantic University during his freshman year.
