Selected to SSC Freshman Team... Started in all 14 games in his first season for the Green & Gold... caused a team high 16 turnovers... At Pfeiffer (3/18), Watkins set a career high four caused turnovers, the most of any Lion in a single game this season... caused at least one turnover in nine games... picked up 14 ground balls... took one shot at against Florida Tech (3/14)... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2014

CAREER
Played for Wilson High School under the guidance of head coach Bill Hughes... earned All County and All District Honors... also a member of the Blue Mountain club team where he played for Coach Bailey.

PERSONAL
Born May 2 in Warsaw, Indiana... son of Mark and Jen Fern... has one brother, Chandler... hobbies include playing sports, and hanging out with friends and family... lists some of his best assets to the team as his ability to take the ball away and transition down field... favorite athlete is Tucker Durkin... favorite sports team is the Indianapolis Colts... chose Saint Leo because he loves the school and palm trees... if he had a super power it would be invisibility... his favorite food is brownies... favorite music is rap... if he won the lottery, he would buy a penthouse in New York City.
