AS A SOPHOMORE (2011)
Appeared in four games for the Lions... picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers... made first appearance as a Lion on February 19 against Rollins College.

PREVIOUS (2010)
Began his college lacrosse career at Guilford College as a reserve defenseman... made nine starts in 16 games played... scooped up 22 ground balls and his 13 caused turnovers were the most for any first-year... picked up two or more ground balls in eight games... best performance came against the University of New England on March 17 when he picked up three ground balls and had one caused turnover.

CAREER
Lettered two years for coach Chris Heid at William T. Dwyer H.S… earned all district honors both years… helped the team to a lacrosse championship.

Son of Eric Smith and Charlotte Umeda… majoring in Biology.
