Made an appearance in one game for the Lions in his freshman season... made his collegiate debut against Tampa on April 11, where he caused one turnover.

CAREER
Played for Boone High School under the guidance of Coach Whitton... four year varsity starter.... named Middie MVP... earned a spot on Team Florida Select... given a nod on the Florida Showcase All-Star Team... was also a member of the Renegades club team under the guidance of Coach Whitton.

PERSONAL
Born April 26... son of Mark Chavez and Evelyn Sechler... has a brother, Matthew, and three sisters, Ella Kate, Megan, and Maddie... father, Mark, played baseball for the University of Florida... enjoys spending time with friends and family, fishing, hunting, and being on the water... career goal is to gradaute, get a good job, and start a family... lists his best assets to the team as being hard working and doing whatever it takes... names Kevin Van Dam, Mike Iaconelli, Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, and Matt Elam as his favorite athletes... tabs the Florida Gators and Orlando Magic as his favorite sports teams... chose Saint Leo because of the lacrosse program and the coaching staff.
