Beneche attended Wellington High School where he was a varsity starter under Head Coach Matthew Colin…He comes to Saint Leo after averaging 15 points and nine rebounds per game in high school…he led Palm Beach County in blocks as he averaged five rejections per contest…Named to the Palm Beach County All-Star Team…Palm Beach County All-Star Game's MVP…10 games where he had at least six blocks and notched 10 or more rebounds in at least 15 games this season…He was a Second-Team All-Area selection…made 61 percent of his shots…earned a spot in the Florida All-Star Basketball Classic…Posted a triple-double performance against archrival Palm Beach Central, posting 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 53-39 win.
