AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
SSC COMMISSIONER’S HONOR ROLL...Played in 24 games … recorded 72 points in 183 minutes of action … grabbed 39 rebounds (13 OFF + 26 DEF) … recorded 5 assists and 3 steals while blocking 10 shots on the season … shot 50-percent from the field with 22-of-44 shooting … was 28-for-36 from the free throw line (77.8-percent)

AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Played in 10 games as a freshman… was originally slated to redshirt the 2014-15 season, but was pressed into duty to give the Lions a bigger presence at center… averaged 2.4 ppg and 2.1 rpg… shot .588 from the field on 10-of-17 shooting… charted a season-high 12 points against Tampa (2/18) on 6-of-7 shooting from the field… also pulled down five rebounds versus the Spartans and recorded three blocks… grabbed a season-best six boards at Lynn (2/14).

CAREER 
Played his high school basketball at River Ridge High School for coach Chuck Butler… averaged 18 points and 11 assists during his senior season… played in both the State of Florida All-Star game and the Pasco County All-Star game.

PERSONAL 
Born June 25 in Holyoke, Mass…. Stated his greatest assets to the team were his rebounding and ability to affect shots… chose Saint Leo because he felt he could be successful at the school, and he felt welcomed by the coaches and other members of the basketball team… Lists LeBron James and Kevin Durant as his favorite athletes, and the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers as his favorite teams… Son of Lori Childs… Has three brothers: Adam, Chad, and Ty.
