Iman Johnson joined the Lions’ men’s basketball coaching staff in 2019-2020 where he will join head coach Lance Randall and staff on the sideline.
Johnson made four stops in his collegiate basketball playing career where he finished his time at Samford of the Division I Southern Conference (SoCon). While playing for the Bulldogs, Johnson was pursuing his Master of Science in Education Leadership. He played in 33 games scoring 156 points his final season with 150 rebounds, 43 steals, 40 assists and 13 blocks.
In his NCAA career, he appeared in 69 games at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Samford with 277 career points and 264 rebounds.
Johnson currently owns and operates I&CJ’s, LLC while coaching the Green and Gold.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science of Sociology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2015, the Milwaukee, Wis. native spent time overseas most recently as a coach at the American Edu-Sports Academy in Hanoi, Vietnam as well as being a volunteer assistant at the University of Dallas.
Johnson resides in Dade City, Fla. while on track to graduate in 2020 with a Master of Education, Instructional Leadership.
