Elijah Ricketts was added to first-year head men's basketball coach Spencer Henke's inaugural coaching staff for the 2024-25 season. Ricketts rejoined the Saint Leo bench where he spent three seasons as a manager for the team.
Ricketts served as a basketball student-manager for the Lions for two seasons (2020-2022) and was behind the bench for the SSC Championship in 2021. He graduated from Saint Leo with his bachelor's degree in business administration in 2022.
Since his graduation from Saint Leo in 2022, he has served as the JV boys head coach and varsity assistant at Trinity Catholic in Ocala, Fla. In 2022, Ricketts was honored as the Marion County coach of the year.
During the summer of 2024, he spent the summer as the head JV boys coach and varsity assistant coach at Windermere High School in Windermere, Fla.
