CAREER
Prepped at Jefferson High School for head coach Juan Fontella… named a Hillsborough/Pinellas All-Star as a senior… helped lead Jefferson to the 2018 6A State Championship… had seven doubles, 15 RBI and a .310 batting average as a senior… drove in a pair of runs in the state semifinal win over Clay High School… scored the game-winning run against Merritt Island High School in the state championship in the bottom of the ninth.

Born January 26… son of Jay and Christie Evans… has two sisters, Jaelyn and Jocelyn… his father, Jay, played baseball at UAB from 1985-88… enjoys fishing and boating when off the diamond… lists his ability to do the small things and give 100 percent on and off the field as his best assets to the team… favorite athlete is Pete Rose… favorite team is the Washington Capitals… chose Saint Leo because it felt like a great fit – great coaching staff, low student to teacher ratio and an amazing campus… if he won the lottery he would buy a house for his family.
