Played in 45 games for the Lions… made 30 starts, with 29 in the DH spot and one at first base… finished the season with a .328 batting average (39-for-119)… fifth on the team with 32 RBI… tied for third on the team with five home runs… his .401 on-base percentage was fourth among players who played at least 20 games… 10 multiple hit games in 2016, and seven multiple RBI outings… recorded three-hit performances against Bridgeport (3/16) and again versus Embry-Riddle (4/3-G1)… also plated five RBI in that game against ERAU, including three runs on a home run to right field in the fourth inning… Williams added a solo HR in the seventh inning… also recorded two home runs in a single game the following weekend at Lynn (3/8), hitting a two-run HR in the fourth inning and a solo shot in the eighth.
