AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Did not see any action in the COVID-19 shortened season. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Made two appearances on the mound … posted a 0.00 ERA over 2.1 innings pitched … made collegiate debut versus Alabama Huntsville (2/2) while pitching 2.0 innings and allowing just one hit … struck out a pair against the Chargers … made second appearance versus Tampa (3/16) … pitched a third of an inning versus the Spartans and did not allow a hit... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2018 and Spring 2019. 

CAREER
Prepped at Victory Christian Academy under head coach Phillip Pruitt… batted over .383 all three years on the varsity squad including a season-high of .405… twice awarded the offensive award… named the team MVP… three-time All-Academic honoree… also played for the Lakeland Legends for coach Pruitt… had a .345 average and a 1.06 ERA on the mound… Rawling/Perfect Game Florida Region Honorable Mention All-American in 2018.

PERSONAL
Born July 21… son of Chad and Renee Mountcastle… has a brother, Casey… believes his reliability is the best asset he brings to the team… favorite athletes include Tim Tebow, Ben Zobrist and Lebron James… favorite team is the Tampa Bay Rays… chose Saint Leo because it had everything he was looking for in a school and a campus.
