AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Johnson appeared in 11 games and made two starts on the mound for the Lions…Tossed 16.2 innings…Struck out 19 batters…In nine relief appearances, Johnson tossed three scoreless frames... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Spring 2011.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Johnson appeared in 20 games for the Lions as a sophomore…He came in mostly in relief but also started three games in the 2010 season posting a 1-2 record…He compiled 39.2 innings pitched, striking out 23 batters while also collecting one game saved…Johnsons best outing came during his start against Eckerd College (03/09/10) where he pitched six innings, scattering four hits giving up only one run while striking out three in the 15-3 victory over the Tritons.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
Johnson appeared in 18 games as a freshman for the Lions…In relief, he threw 19.2 innings and allowed 31 hits while striking out 19 batters…He made the first appearance of his Saint Leo career against Nova Southeastern (02/07/09), allowing only one hit and no runs over 2.0 innings.
CAREER
Johnson was named MVP and Pitcher of the Year at King High School…He was a member of the Diamond Club…He also received the Batting Award on top of being named to the second team All Western Conference team…Johnson was tabbed a Under Armour Preseason All-America pick and was on the All-American prospect team.

Johnson was born November 24 in Tampa, Fla…Marketing major…His hobbies include fishing and hunting…His career goal is to make it to the next level…Believes his desire to win is his best asset to the team...Names Ty Cobb his favorite athlete and the Houston Astros his favorite team…He chose Saint Leo because he felt it was a good fit…Son of Clayton and Brenda Johnson…Has two brothers, Colby and Casey.
