AS A SENIOR (2023)
Appeared and started in 35 games… Batted .285 with 19 RBI’s… Had 35 hits including nine doubles… had 21 runs… had a .358 slugging percentage and an on base percentage of .372… Had his best game of the season against Alabama Huntsville where he recorded two hits including a double, drove in two runs, and drew two walks.

AS A JUNIOR (2022)
South Region Player of The Year...Second Team All American....SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ...Finished on the CCA All-America Second Team. Led the whole SSC conference with 21 home runs while having 63 RBI’s. (2^nd in SSC) He hit .356 on the year which led the Lions in that department and pushing himself in the top 10 in batting average.

Transferred to Saint Leo from Daytona State College … named JUCO All-Star … 2019 All Conference Honorable Mention … 2021 All Conference Second Team … prepped at Matanzas High School under coach Jim Perry … two-time All Area First Team … selected to the MHS All Decade Team.

Born on Jan. 29 in Palmer, Mass. … son of Tom and Patty Sparling … has three brothers, Sean, Matt, and Tom … brother, Matt, played baseball at Daytona State, Florida Atlantic and is currently in the San Diego Padres organization … brother, Sean, is currently playing baseball at Daytona State … lists J.D. Martinez as his favorite athlete … favorite hobbies are reading and weight lifting.
