Led the Lions in strikeouts, striking out 105 batters. Landing him in the top three in the SSC conference. He was also 4^th in the SSC in opposing batting average. (.217)

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2021)
Made nine appearances on the mound with seven starts … went 2-4 with a 7.29 ERA … finished second on the team with 33.1 innings pitched … struck out 36 while walking 26 … allowed 30 runs including 27 earned off of 38 hits … held opponents to a .281 batting average … made Saint Leo debut out of the bullpen versus Tampa (2/27) pitching 2.1 innings with three Ks, three walks and one hit given up while holding the Spartans scoreless in the Lions’ 5-4 extra inning victory … following a second appearance out of the bullpen at Palm Beach Atlantic (3/18), made first start versus Florida Southern (3/24) going 6.0 innings with a strikeout and a walk … scattered seven hits and took home the first victory in a Green & Gold uniform … second victory came at Florida Southern (4/7) while going 6.0 innings with a season-best nine strikeouts and just three walks … scattered just five hits and allowed just a pair of runners to cross the plate in the 12-2 victory.

CAREER
Transferred to Saint Leo from Illinois State … also spent time at Heartland Community College and Eastern Iowa Community College … prepped at Davenport North High School for head coach Cory Wachal … rated as the fourth best left-handed pitcher in his 2018 class out of the state of Iowa by Perfect Game … ranked among the top 400 recruits in the nation by Perfect Game in 2018.

Born on July 1 in Davenport, Iowa … son of Kevin and Brenda Beck ... has two brothers, Jake and Justin … lists Randy Johnson and Rich Hill as his favorite athletes … favorite professional team is the Chicago Cubs.
