AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Played in three games … earned two starts … faced 81 shots … recorded 35 saves … compiled a .660 SV% paired with a 2-0 record in the net … registered a season-high 21 saves against Alabama-Huntsville (2/9) …  added two ground balls...D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Saw three games of action … named to the 2018 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Saw action in three games, including his first start against Chowan (2/11) … made 10 saves .. played 60 minutes … finished with a 1-0 record … earned a .769 save percentage … named to the 2017 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

CAREER
Played for Max Gurowski at Allen D. Nease High … named US Lacrosse Academic All-American … First Team All-County … Two-time Team Captain … named to the FLN Senior All-Star Game … had a 75-percent save percentage in his senior year … played club for Villages Lacrosse Club for Gurowski.

PERSONAL
Born on Jan. 3, 1998, in Jacksonville, Fla. … son of Michael and Julie Areford … one of six siblings; has two brothers, Connor and Tyler, and three sisters, Zoe, Maddie and Katherine … is a triplet … lists his favorite teams as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Marlins, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
