Lovell comes to Saint Leo after spending three years as thesetter at Northern Michigan University in Marquette,Mich…Playing under coach Dominic Yoder, Lovell was thestarting setter for a Wildcat attack that averaged almost 13 killsper set her junior year…Lovell ranked 38 in the nation inset assists her junior year…She is a career .245 hitter andaverages a tick under 10 assists per game…She will transferto Saint Leo with teammate Sami Vierk.

CAREER

Lovell attended Marian HS where she played on varsity for threeyears under Head Coach Irick Gardner…Lovell is anaccomplished athlete with honors that include being named ThirdTeam All-State her senior season as she led her team to a secondconsecutive state finals appearance…Her talents on the courtsaw her named to the All-Catholic League her junior and seniorseasons and earn a First Team All-State nod her senioryear…Named the Dr. Pepper Player of the Month her final yearof high school, Lovell was a finalist of Miss Volleyball in thestate of Michigan and her team’s Most ValuablePlayer…She also played for the USA-Michigan club team underthe guidance of Dave Schmidlin.
