AS A JUNIOR (2009)
Rocha was named AVCA National Player of the Week… AVCA South Region Honorable Mention… Daktronics Second Team All-South Regio… NCAA All-South Region Tournament Team… All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team… She was also Saint Leo University Athlete of the Week and Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, two consecutive weeks (9/28/09 and 10/5/09)…On the season, Rocha started 32 matches and played in all 34 contests this season, while participating in all 117 sets… She was third on the team in kills with 344 (2.94 k/s),  and a .253 attack percentage…Rocha tallied over 20 kills in three contests, including two against SSC opponents…Rocha tallied 45 assists and 25 aces…She was second on the team in digs 377 (3.22 d/s), including a 22-dig effort against SSC rival Tampa (10/6/09)…Rocha was fifth on the team in total blocks with 54, including 48 block assist…She had a season-high, three-block effort against regional opponent West Florida (09/11/09)… Rocha led the team in points per match with 25.5 against SSC challenger Florida Southern, and had 3 more matches with over 20 points…The junior also produced 10 doubles-doubles on the season.

CAREER
During her tenure at San Jacinto College, she was named to all-conference, all-tournament and all-region teams…She was named player of the week once…Closed her stay at SJC ranked ninth in the country with 4.2 kills per game.

Born December 8 in Janauba, Brazil…International Business major…She enjoys going to the movies, reading books and playing video games…Believes her communication is the best asset to the team…Lists Gustavo as her favorite athlete and Sao Paulo (soccer) as her favorite team…She chose Saint Leo because of the business program…Daughter of Anisio Higinio Filho and Maria Cleusa Mendes…Has one brother, Hugo and one sister, Nubia.
