AS A JUNIOR (2009)
Nuckles saw action in 22 of the Lions 34 matches…In her 35 sets this season she compiled 28 kills (.80 k/s) and a .103 attack percentage… Nuckles was seventh on the team in assists with 15 (.43 a/s) and was also seventh on the team in aces with 2… She closed out the season with 17 digs (.46 d/s) and 14 total blocks, 13 of which were block assists…She had a season-high five kills against SSC opponent Nova Southeastern (10/10/09)…The junior accumulated three total blocks against Tampa (11/04/09) and had a pair of three-dig games.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2008)
Nuckols had a solid sophomore season for the Lions, playing in 36 matches…She stared 23 of the matches and played in 107 total games…In total, the outside hitter had 119 kills (1.11 k/g), 30 assists, 33 service aces and a career high 196 digs (1.83 d/g)…She had a season-high 11 kill against Arkansas Tech (10/11/08) and set a career mark with 18 digs against Carson-Newman (9/12/08) and had four service aces in their match with Valdosta State (9/6/08)…She also posted one double-double on the season, also against Arkansas Tech.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
Had a big start to her collegiate career before being sidelined by injury midway through the season...In the end, Nuckols finished with 165 kills (1.96 kills/game) and also totaled 132 digs (1.57 digs/game)...Her top offensive performance came with 26 kills versus Francis Marion (8/25/07), and she added a career-high 16 digs in the match for her first career double-double.
CAREER
Had a very successful four-year career at Notre Dame Academy where she played for Coach Shelly Franco...Named the 2005 Virginia Independent High School Division II Player of the Year...Named to the Virginia Independent High School All-Tournament Team during each of her four years at Notre Dame Academy...Named the MVP of her high school team in 2005 and 2006.
