AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
McGillis appeared in 19 games as a freshman for the Lions…He batted .312 with 15 hits 2 doubles, 9 runs scored while driving in 5 RBI in 48 at bats…HE showed a solid performance in the field posting a .933 fielding percentage on defense…McGillis also produced a .340 on base percentage as well as a .354 slugging percentage.

CAREER
McGillis attended Bishop McLaughlin Catholic HS…During his four seasons, McGillis was named Second Team All-North Suncoast and Honorable Mention All-Suncoast…As a senior he hit .466.

Born January 22 in Houston, Tex…Sport Business major…He lists his career goals as to obtaining a position in sports administration in either intercollegiate athletics or professional sports…Believes his enthusiasm and passion for the game are his best assets to the team…Names Ken Griffey Jr. his favorite athlete and the Seattle Mariners his favorite team…He chose Saint Leo because of the baseball coaching staff…Son of Bill and Marjorie McGillis…Has four siblings, Jordan, Willie, Marissa, and Gabby…Brother, Jordan, played two seasons at USF (2007-09).
