AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)
All-SSC First Team … SSC Offensive Player of the Week (3/14) … USILA Offensive Player of the Week (3/15) … Finished the season second in goals with 24 and first in assists with 34 … broke the single season assists record (34) and assists per game record (2.43)… set the single game assists record with eight against Lees-McRae (3/11) … finished second in points (58) … scored three game-winners, and added seven man-up goals … scooped up 21 groundballs and caused 5 turnovers … recorded multiple points in 12 of the 14 games for the Lions … had a .761 shot on goal percentage … finished the season at second in the SSC and fourth in the nation in assists per game (2.43) … finished third in the SSC and 20th in the nation in points per game (4.14) … finished 2016 in second in Saint Leo history in career points per game (3.57), third in career assists at 48 and career man-up goals at 16, and currently sits as the career record holder for assists per game at 1.71 … named to the 2016 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2016
AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Selected to SSC Freshman Team... finished second on the team with 42 points in an outstanding freshman effort that included 28 goals and a team best 14 assists... turned in the season best single game mark with 5 assists, missing the program record (6) by one helper against Lees-McRae (3/12)... scored four goals on two separate occassions (vs. Adams State, 3/24 & at Lynn, 4/18)... was one of only two players to score four games in one contest... tallied a season shooting percentage of 42.4% and 80.3% in shots on goal... against conference opponents, Gilmour had a team best .840 shots on goal percentage...picked up 18 ground balls... caused four turnovers... scored nine man-up goals, including five against SSC opponents.
CAREER
Attended Pine Ridge Secondary School where he competed in several sports… As a freshman he was named athlete of the year and the rugby MVP… As a sophomore named hockey MVP… As a senior named hockey MVP, athlete of the year, and earned an award in volleyball and baseball… Played for the club team Markham Ironheads under Coach Ron Reid… Scored a total of 35 points, comprised of 11 goals and 24 assists in 16 games played.
PERSONAL
Born December 12th in Pickering, Ontario, Canada… Has yet to declare a major… Lists his hobbies as playing sports, working out, and hanging out with friends… Names his favorite foods as chicken wings and pizza… Says if he could choose one super power it would be to read the future… Lists his favorite athletes as Doug Gilmour and Jordan Wolf… Names his favorite teams as the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Rock… Chose Saint Leo because he felt right at home, loved the team and coaching staff, as well as because of the excellent academics offered at Saint Leo…Believes his best assets to the team are his hard work and positive attitude… Son of Victoria and James Gilmour… Has one brother, Ryan.
