INDIANAPOLIS – The top-ranked Saint Leo University softball team's magical season continues this week at home as the Lions earned the number one seed in the South Region. Finishing the regular season with a program best 44-3-1 overall record and a 29-1 conference record the SSC Champs will host the four, five, and eight seeds later this week at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. Regional play begins on Thursday, May 14. Saint Leo will host the top half of the bracket and the bottom half will head to Pensacola for the South Region 2. 

TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

The Lions advance to the NCAA regional championship for a fourth consecutive season. Saint Leo is hosting the South Region for the third time in four years, having hosted the South Region 2 in 2023 and 2025.

South 1 Region at Saint Leo, Florida

South 2 Region at Pensacola, Florida

The south region is broken into two regional sites and the four teams at each location will play a double-elimination style bracket to determine who will play in a best of three super regional at the highest remaining seed, May 21-22.
