ORLANDO, Fla. – Saint Leo University women's lacrosse senior attacker
Holly Hill was recognized by the Sunshine State Conference on Monday with her first career SSC Weekly Honors. Hill posted a 20 points week with five goals and 15 assists as #10 Saint Leo women's lacrosse improved to 11-3 and 3-1 in conference play.
This marks the first SSC weekly honor of Hill's career. It is her first conference weekly honor since being named Big South Freshman of the Week on April 9, 2024, while at Longwood.
Holly Hill once again showed why she leads all of NCAA Division II in points as she totaled 20 points over two games. She had 20 points on five goals and 15 assists while averaging 10.0 points and 7.5 assists per game. She shot .625 from the field with a .875 shot-on-goal percentage.
Hill opened the week with one goal and six assists in a 17-12 win over Florida Tech, setting a new single-season program record with her 77th point of the year, a mark she has since pushed to 90. She also notched the game-winning goal in the victory.
She followed with a 13-point performance in a 20-12 win over Palm Beach Atlantic, scoring four goals with nine assists. It marked the second time this season she has totaled 13 points with the same 4-goal, 9-assist breakdown. Her nine assists and 13 points matches the program single-game records while tying the Sunshine State Conference single-game record for points. Hill also recorded the 100th assist of her career in the win.
Hill and #10 Women's Lacrosse are back in action this week with a road game at #6 Tampa on Wednesday.
