BOCA RATON, Fla. — Saint Leo University men's lacrosse defeated the Lynn Fighting Knights 15–6 in their final regular season game of 2026.
First Quarter:
Saint Leo responded to an early Lynn goal with a four goal run, including two from senior Greg Palmer and scores from sophomore Maverick Chernoff and senior Tristan LeBlanc, taking a 4–1 lead after one.
Second Quarter:
The Lions extended their advantage with goals from senior Ben Baker, LeBlanc, and Palmer, while senior John Raucci added a late tally. Despite a brief Lynn push, Saint Leo held an 8–3 lead at halftime.
Third Quarter:
Saint Leo broke the game open in the third, scoring five times in a dominant stretch. Seniors Aidan Knoetgen, Brady Moltisanti, LeBlanc, and sophomore Anderson Smith (2) all found the net, pushing the lead to 13–4 entering the fourth.
Fourth Quarter:
Raucci and senior James Blaize added goals to maintain control as the Lions closed out the 15–6 victory.
Stat Leaders:
Saint Leo totaled 50 shots and 27 ground balls, controlling possession throughout in the conference win.
The men's lacrosse team now looks to the SSC Tournament where they will be a three seed and play this Saturday at home versus an opponent yet to be determined.
