Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla. – The #11 Saint Leo University men's tennis team's hot stretch continued on Sunday in Boca Raton as it picked up a 5-2 Sunshine State Conference victory at #36 Lynn. The Lions earned their third straight 5-2 victory and are 5-1 in the last six matches all against ranked opponents. Saint Leo improves to 10-2 overall and 3-1 in SSC matches while Lynn falls to 8-6 and 1-3 in conference action.
 

The Lions dropped the doubles point despite a dominant 6-1 win at No. 2 from Eduardo Cohen and Shay Sarfati, as Lynn took courts one and three to grab the early 1-0 lead.

Saint Leo responded in singles with five victories across the lineup to secure the win. Jose David Segovia delivered a three-set comeback at No. 2, bouncing back from a first-set tiebreak loss to win 6-7, 6-1, 6-1. Cohen followed with a comeback victory at No. 3 before his opponent retired in the third set, while Kodai Kato battled through a tight three-set tiebreak win at No. 4, 7-6, 6-7, 10-8. Mahit Mekala added a straight-sets win at No. 5, 6-3, 6-3, and Sarfati capped the scoring with a three-set victory at No. 6, rallying for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 win.
