Harclerode and Nuss Represent #10 Women's Lacrosse on 2026 USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Division II All-America Teams

SAINT LEO, Fla. – #10 Saint Leo University was represented on the Division II Women's Preseason All-Americans as announced by USA Lacrosse on Tuesday. Senior goalie Jessica Harclerode and senior attacker Jana Nuss were named to the third team. Harclerode will look to repeat as an All-American having been named to the third team at the end of the 2025 season. The two Lions are two of ten from the SSC on the list of 56 representing 25 universities across the division.
 
Harclerode is coming off her first season earning All-America status following a career-record of a year. She set career-bests in games won (13), saves (166), games played (19), minutes (1102:15), and goals against average (11.11). In 2025, she made double-digit saves in eight games including a season-high 14 saves in a 13-5 win over Kutztown.

Nuss is still working towards All-America status as she enters her senior season as a two-time All-SSC honoree and earning a spot on the IWLCA All-South Region second team in 2025. She also played started in all 19 games and led the Green & Gold in points (71) and assists (33). She notched a season best seven points twice, first in a win at Limestone (2G, 5A) and then again against Rollins in the regular season finale as she matched a season high four goals with three assists. With the graduation of Maria Palomba, Nuss leads the returners with 14 free-position goals last year with a pair of three free-position goal games.  

Harclerode, Nuss and the Lions open the 2026 season hosting #12 Flagler on Saturday, February 7 at 5 p.m. on University Turf Stadium.
