ORLANDO, Fla. - The 12th-ranked Saint Leo University men's tennis team improved to 2-0 with a 7-0 win over Bates College. The Lions made the trip over to the USTA National Campus to take on the Bobcats. Saturday's neutral site match was all Saint Leo as four of six singles matches went two sets.
Saint Leo earned the doubles point for the early lead with a 6-3 win at number three doubles by
Mahit Mekala and
Sander Sootla.
Dylan Andrianaly made it easy work of his opponent winning 6-0 and 6-1 to make it a 3-0 match in favor of the Lions. Saint Leo clinched the match with a two-set victory by Sootla at number four singles, 6-2, 6-4.

Saint Leo is back on the courts on February 24 as it takes on Florida Southern at 3 p.m. at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
