Feb 12, 2026

LAKELAND, Fla. - The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has announced the South Region Player of the Week is Saint Leo's Ryan Crivello.

Crivello led the Lions to a sweep of Colorado Christian in a four-game series over the weekend. Starting all four games as an infielder, Crivello produced a .643 batting average, going 9-for-14 with two home runs, 14 RBIs, eight runs scored, three doubles, and two walks. He posted a 1.286 slugging percentage and a .700 on-base percentage to improve Saint Leo to a 5-1 overall record. Crivello also recorded his first career grand slam in a 23-2 win over the Cougars.

Crivello is the first Lion since the 2022 season when Jared Beck collected the nod.

The Lions return to the field on Friday, February 13 as they host Parkside in a non-conference game, starting at 5 p.m.
