SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo university men's lacrosse was selected to finish second in the SSC Preseason Coaches Poll. The league announced the preseason poll as voted on by the SSC women's lacrosse coaches on Wednesday. The national runner up Tampa Spartans earned 7 first place votes to claim the top spot. Saint Leo earned 37 points tying second place.
The Lions open the season hosting the University of Alabama Huntsville on Friday, 6, at 7 p.m. on University Turf Stadium.
Below are the full results of the 2026 SSC preseason coaches' poll. Coaches may not vote for their teams (points: 7-6-5-4-3-2-1, first-place votes in parentheses).
