SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team fell 2-0 at home to Christian Brothers on Sunday morning. With the setback, the Lions drop to 1-2-1 on the year.
The Buccaneers struck first in the 19th minute, converting an early chance to seize a 1-0 lead. Saint Leo generated just one first-half shot and trailed at the break.
Christian Brothers doubled the advantage in the 55th minute, capitalizing again to make it 2-0. The Lions pressed forward with four shots in the second half and two corner kicks but were unable to cut into the deficit.
Christian Brothers edged Saint Leo in shots, 7-5, and held a 4-1 advantage in shots on goal. The Buccaneers also notched three corner kicks to the Lions' two, while fouls were heavily in Saint Leo's favor, with the Buccaneers committing 18 to just 8 for the Lions. Sophomore Redshirt goalkeeper
James Knudson tallied two saves while going the distance of the 90 minutes for the Green and Gold.

th, taking on the Southeastern University Fire starting at 7 p.m.
