MELBOURNE, Fla. – After pitching a complete-game shutout over the weekend at Embry-Riddle, senior starting pitcher
Kaelan Racculia was tabbed as the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Racculia helped the Lions collect a series win after leading Saint Leo to an 8-0 victory in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader. The Kentucky native tallied seven strikeouts and only surrendered six hits on 115 pitches in Saturday's win.
Racculia is sporting a 3.71 ERA with a 1.56 WHIP in 34.0 innings pitched while holding a 4-3 record in 12 appearances.
Saint Leo returns to action on Friday, April 4 as it hosts #13 Florida Southern win an SSC bout, starting at 6 p.m.
