SAINT LEO, Fla. – The eleventh-ranked Saint Leo University men's tennis team picked up win number 13 on the season with a second straight 7-0 victory on Friday morning. The Lions dominated in a victory over Franklin Pierce to improve to 13-4 overall as the Ravens fall to 4-4 on the 2025 season.

Saint Leo earned the early lead with doubles wins at number one and two. Eduardo Cohen and Kodai Kato opened the match with a 6-2 win. Enes Kocu and Taiyo Hirano clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win at doubles two. Franklin Pierce got its only win on the day from the doubles three pair.

Kato earned a win by default to give his team a 2-0 lead. Hirano won 6-3 and 6-2 to give the Lions a 3-0 advantage at number three singles. Cohan clinched the match victory at singles two with a tiebreaker win in the opening set before clinching the match point with a 6-2 second set victory. Kocu used a pair of 6-1 set wins to give the home team a 5-0 lead. Theo Renoux won 6-2 and 6-4 at singles number six to grow the Saint Leo lead to 6-0. The Green & Gold clinched its second consecutive 7-0 victory as Leonardo Pisa turned a 6-3 first set loss into a three set victory.
