SAINT LEO, Fla. – The 15th-ranked Saint Leo men's tennis team defeated Mississippi College by a 4-1 margin in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
During the doubles matches, the Lions collected wins in the first slot and third doubles contest to claim the doubles point. Sophomore
Eduardo Cohen and graduate student
Luis Iriarte earned a 6-2 in first doubles while sophomore
Kodai Kato and freshman
Jose David Segovia registered a 6-0 shutout in third singles.
In the singles matches, Thiel earned a 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 win in the first slot followed by Iriarte posting a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 victory in the fifth position before Chen tallied a 6-4, 6-2 win in sixth singles.
