VALDOSTA, Ga. – The thirteenth ranked Saint Leo University women's tennis team capped off a 3-0 week to improved to 5-0 on the season with a 4-1 neutral site win against Coastal Georgia on Saturday afternoon. Saint Leo dominated its three-matches in three days in two states following wins over Bates (6-1), Valdosta State (4-2), and Coastal Georgia (4-1).

The Lions number one doubles pair of Sophia Johnson and Luzia Obermeier earned a 6-2 win to clinch the doubles point for the early lead.

Saint Leo opened the singles play rallying off a pair of wins to put the Lions on the brink of a clinch.  Nora Catanzarite started singles play with a 6-2, 6-1 win at number five singles to give the Lions a 2-0 advantage. Saint Leo earned its third win of the match by forfeit for a 3-0 lead. Coastal Georgia got on the board with a win at number one singles. A 6-4, 6-0 win at number three singles by Karina Montoya clinched the match for the Lions.
