MELBOURNE, Fla. – For the sixth time in her career, Saint Leo University women's lacrosse goalie,
Jessica Harclerode has been named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
In goal for the Lions, Harclerode made 17 saves while allowing 16 goals on 44 total shots. In the season opener, she made four saves on 11 shots faced as Saint Leo earned an 18-5 win at Belmont Abbey. In the final game of the week, she made 13 saves while allowing 11 goals in a 14-11 win at Limestone. The junior goalie currently leads the SSC with 8.50 saves per game and is second in the conference with a .515 save percentage.
The Lions are back in action on Saturday at #7 Flagler.
