First Quarter
Saint Leo set the tone early opening the game with strong interior play by O'Leary and aggressive defense. O'Leary controlled the paint from the opening tip, scoring multiple early baskets while also cleaning the glass. The Lions forced several turnovers that led to fast break opportunities, helping them establish momentum. While Trinity briefly answered with inside scoring of its own, Saint Leo's ball movement and rebounding kept the Lions in control. Saint Leo trailed 7-6 early but then closed the quarter on a late push to take an 18–11 lead, holding the lead until the end of the game.

O'Leary continued to dominate inside, finishing through contact and protecting the rim defensively. Saint Leo shot efficiently for much of the quarter and consistently turned defense into offense. Saint Leo's depth was also on display, with eight players scoring resulting in a commanding 79–48 lead headed into the fourth.

Fourth Quarter
The fourth quarter allowed the lead to extend even more, with freshman Jaileen Green scoring 10 points in the quarter to deliver the knockout punches. O'Leary capped her night with continued dominance on the boards, while Saint Leo's bench added valuable minutes and scoring. Freshman Jasmine Fajardo closed out the night with a layup inside to give the women's basketball team a 104-57 victory. This is the second largest margin of victory (47) and second time scoring over 100 point this season.

Saint Leo's dominance was reflected across the stat sheet, particularly in areas tied to effort, efficiency, and pace.
