Muharemovic's 2000th Career Assist Headlines Volleyball's Season Finale Against #19 Lynn

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University volleyball team opened its final game of the season by taking the first set from #19 Lynn University. Senior Tajma Muharemovic's 2000th career assist provided a highlight for the finale on Saturday. Saint Leo pushed the nationally ranked Fighting Knights throughout the match before ultimately falling 3–1, with Paula Perez Rosales leading the Lions with 12 kills and 11 digs.

Saint Leo totaled 34 kills, 29 errors, and 147 attempts for a .034 team hitting percentage in the four-set match. Perez Rosales paced the Lions with 12 kills, 11 digs, and two block assists, while Molly Chappell followed with seven kills and eight digs. Brielle Kallberg added five kills, and middle blocker Emma LeTourneau recorded three kills to go along with five block assists. Muharemovic closed her career with 23 assists and nine digs, and Camila Villar provided three assists, 11 digs, and two service aces. Libero Mia Moser contributed 11 digs and an ace.\

Set 1 | Saint Leo 25, Lynn 21
Saint Leo delivered one of its sharpest sets of the season, hitting .257 with 15 kills. Perez Rosales powered the attack with five kills in the frame, while Chappell added three more as the Lions controlled the pace from the start. Muharemovic distributed the offense cleanly and logged her milestone 2,000th career assist during the frame, helping Saint Leo close out the set 25–21.
 
Set 2 | Lynn 25, Saint Leo 13
Lynn responded with a strong defensive effort, forcing Saint Leo into a -.093 hitting percentage. Perez Rosales and Stavile each contributed kills, while Villar and Moser kept rallies alive with disciplined back-row play. A late Lynn run created separation and tied the match 1–1.
 
Set 3 | Lynn 25, Saint Leo 13
The Knights continued to control the tempo in the third set, capitalizing on Saint Leo errors and establishing a quick lead. Chappell and Kallberg supplied key swings, and LeTourneau added multiple block touches, but Lynn's balanced offense pushed them ahead 2–1.
 
Set 4 | Lynn 25, Saint Leo 20
Saint Leo regrouped with a stronger effort in the final set, hitting .150 while keeping the frame tight throughout. Perez Rosales added five more kills, and Moser and Villar anchored the floor defense with timely digs. Chappell and LeTourneau each contributed important points, but Lynn used a late 5–2 stretch to close out the match.
