SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University volleyball team hosted the Flagler College Saints for its final non-conference match of the season, which also was the Pink Out Game for the Lions. The Lions volleyball team wore special pink t-shirts to raise awareness for breast cancer. It was a great evening of community as Saint Leo University president Dr. Jim Burkee and his wife Dr. Hanen were in attendance for Tuesday night's Pink Out game.
Saint Leo hit .068 as a team with 23 kills and 18 errors on 74 attempts in the three-set match against Flagler. Chappell paced the attack with eight kills on 19 swings, while Stavile hit .400 with five kills and two block assists. 
Brielle Kallberg added four kills and two solo blocks, and 
Paula Perez Rosales chipped in three kills and three digs. Muharemovic guided the offense with 12 assists and one service ace while adding four digs, and libero 
Mia Moser tallied two digs and a steady passing effort. 
Emma LeTourneau added a kill and a block assist, while 
Anastasia Azzan served one ace off the bench.

Set 1 | Flagler 25, Saint Leo 13
Flagler controlled the opening frame behind a .308 hitting percentage, but Saint Leo showed early life with kills from Chappell and Stavile to stay within 10-8. Muharemovic connected well with her hitters early, but Flagler pulled away on a late run to close the set 25-13.
 
Set 2 | Flagler 25, Saint Leo 21
The Lions responded with their best frame of the match, recording seven kills and keeping the score close throughout. Perez Rosales and Kallberg delivered key points to help Saint Leo tie the set multiple times, while Chappell led the offense with consistent swings on the outside. Despite pushing Flagler to the wire, the Saints used a short spurt late to edge the Lions 25-21.
 
Set 3 | Flagler 25, Saint Leo 16
Saint Leo continued to compete in the final frame, hitting .226 as a team with nine kills. Stavile and Kallberg each contributed two kills, and Muharemovic set the tone with strong service runs. Chappell added three late kills to cap her night, but Flagler's efficiency sealed the match 25-16.

Saint Leo wraps up the weekend beginning with a Halloween match up against the Panthers of Florida Tech at 6 p.m. on Friday night. The final match of the weekend features a visit by Embry-Riddle to open the final month of the season. First serve against the Eagles is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday
