GULF SHORES, Ala. – Saint Leo University softball was set to open the 2025 season but mother nature had other plans. The entire first day of the 2025 Gulf Shores Invitational was rained out. Saint Leo's games against #6 Auburn Montgomery and Montevallo were canceled on Friday.

Saturday's start times against West Florida and Union could be affected by the weather in the area.
