SAINT LEO, Fla. – The eighth-ranked Saint Leo women's tennis team lost 4-3 versus 19th-ranked Tampa at home in a Sunshine State Conference (SSC) bout on Tuesday evening.
The Spartans swept the doubles matches and claimed the doubles point.
In singles competition, junior
Claudia Borbon Roca earned a 6-1, 6-4 in the second singles slot while sophomore
Camila Keller notched a 7-6 (14-12), 6-3 win at the fifth singles match. Rounding out the singles matches with a win was freshman
Catherine Rabatin at sixth singles with a 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 margin victory.
