SAINT LEO, Fla. – The tenth-ranked Saint Leo women's tennis team dropped its final conference match of the season 7-0 at #2 Nova Southeastern University on Saturday afternoon. Saint Leo falls to 13-8 overall and 4-5 in SSC play.
Saturday's match was all Nova Southeastern as the Sharks swept the doubles action and all five of six completed singles matches.
The Lions put up a fight in the singles play as
Claudia Borbon Roca jumped out to a 6-3 win in the opening set but was dropped the second and third set. Number five singles,
Kamilya Shailina won her opening set 7-6 before dropping the second and third set.
