SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University head men's basketball coach
Lance Randall has been named the head coach of the Great Britain Basketball U20 men's team. The team will take part in events across Europe in July.
"It is a great honor to be chosen to be a coach for the Great Britain national team program for this Summer," said Randall. "I am looking forward to competing again at the international level. These experiences are invaluable for our program here at Saint Leo."
The Randall-led team have been drawn in Group B with the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Portugal, and Ireland in Pitesti, Romania. Games will be played in Romania from July 12-21, 2024.
From 2000-02, Randall spent two years as the head coach and vice president of operations for the Pertemps Birmingham Bullets a professional team in Birmingham, England. In the summer of 2017, he served as an assistant coach for the Kosovo national men's basketball team serving on head coach Brad Greenberg's staff.
