#1 Men's Tennis Earns 17th Win with a 7-0 Victory Against Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla. – The number one ranked Saint Leo University men's tennis team blanked the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire Blugolds, 7-0 on Friday afternoon at home. The Lions improved to 17-1 on the season with their 11th-straight win.

The home team clinched the doubles point with back-to-back wins at number one and three doubles. Nicolas Bacella and Luis Iriarte posted a 6-0 shutout to open the match. A 6-2 win at doubles number three by Elliot Jarosz and Eduardo Cohen sealed the doubles point for the Lions.

All six singles matches ended in the Lions favor as Saint Leo's starting lineup held its opponents to three points or less in all 12 sets. Jarosz won 6-0 in both sets to put the Lions up 3-0 and back-to-back 6-1 wins by Cohen at number two singles clinched the match for the home team.
