GULF SHORES, Ala. – The final day of the 2024 Gulf Shores Invitational in Gulf Shores, Ala. has been washed out due to unplayable field conditions. The 18th-ranked Saint Leo University softball team will return home with a 3-1 record to start the season.

The Lions were scheduled to take on #1 North Georgia and West Florida.

The games are officially cancelled and will not be made up.

Saint Leo returns to the diamond next weekend in St. Augustine as the Lions are set for four games at the Old Coast Classic. Saint Leo will play games against Edward Waters (Fla.), Wingate, and Converse.
