KEARNEY, Neb. – The fifth-ranked Saint Leo women's tennis team advanced to the ITA Semifinals after notching a 4-3 victory over sixth-ranked Columbus State on Friday. For the eight-team tournament, the Lions were seeded at number three while the Cougars drew the number six seed.
Saint Leo won two of the three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point. Sophomore

Catherine Rabatin won by a 6-3 margin in the second doubles position while in the third doubles slot, junior
Kamilya Shailina and freshman
Madelyn Martin tallied a 6-2 triumph.
Columbus State countered back as it won the first two single matches. In the third singles position, sophomore
Lavinia Lancellotti picked up a 5-7, 7-5, 7-5 win followed by junior
Claudia Borbon Roca registering a 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 victory in fifth singles. To close out the singles competition, sophomore
Camila Keller claimed a 6-3, 7-6 margin win for the sixth singles position to secure the Saint Leo victory.
