KEARNEY, Neb. – The third-seeded Saint Leo University women's tennis team dropped its second-round matchup to the second-seeded Nova Southeastern University Sharks on Saturday afternoon. The Lions had a tough task ahead of them as they looked to earn a berth in the 2024 ITA National Indoor Championship final match up. Saint Leo suffered its first loss of the season falling 4-0.
The Sharks dominated the doubles matches earning wins at two and three doubles.
Singles action was very much dominated again by Nova Southeastern as it quickly earned a trio of wins to secure the match.
